Adoption in Planet Zoo
Animal Acquisition
To adopt an animal in Planet Zoo, players must ensure they have sufficient funds or conservation credits and adequate space within their zoo.
Animal Trading
Animals can be acquired through the Animal Trading tab located at the bottom left of the screen. This tab allows players to purchase and store animals for future release into their zoo.
Game Modes and Animal Availability
The standard edition of Planet Zoo features 72 unique animal species, expanding to 180 species with all DLC content. Players can choose to learn the basics through the first campaign mission or dedicate time to watching tutorial videos and exploring the game's mechanics.
Animal Species
As of this writing, Planet Zoo boasts 187 distinct animal species available for adoption and care. This extensive collection provides players with a diverse range of animals to enhance and expand their zoo experience.
